We are pleased that so many people are getting outside and visiting the Barnes Preserve. It is a great place to unwind and enjoy enjoy nature. However, we need to remind everyone to heed the warnings from the CDC about the exposure to COVID-19 and how to lessen your risk of getting the virus.
It is critically important that everyone practices social distancing at all times while in the park. That includes providing other guests with proper space of at least six feet. Please don’t forget to share the trail and warn others as you pass.
If you are not feeling well, stay home. Consider wearing a mask when in public, in accordance with the CDC's recommendations.
It is our hope that people will act responsibly, or we will be forced into closing the park until further notice.
